Drop vaporization frequency response: an approximate analytical solution for mixed injection regimes

This work is devoted to a theoretical analysis of evaporating mass frequency response pressure oscillations spray repetitively injected drops into combustion chamber. A single stationary spherical droplet continuously fed with the same liquid fuel, so that its volume remains constant in spite evaporation, so-called ‘mean droplet' Heidmann analogy, represents this vaporizing droplets. The feeding realized liquid-liquid heat transfer coefficient by using source point placed at mean centre, such way only radial thermal convection and conduction effects are allowed inside during process. procedure now viewed as proper boundary condition mixed or generalized regime controlling whole process fuel injection Drawing upon linear based on Rayleigh criterion, factor evaluated. Effects due variation characteristic times analysed. Especially, an abrupt increase function related influence value particular thermodynamic coefficient.
